Rational Determination of Caving Circulation Mode and Analysis on Top Coal Caving Rate for Fully Mechanized Top Coal Caving Mining

Abstract

According to the certain conditions of No.B905 trial coal mining face in pingshuo Anjialing No.2 mine,with the site measurement comparison between the coal caving time and mining recovery rate of the present common three top coal caving methods,a double round sequence top coal caving was applied.Meanwhile according to the conveying capacity of the rear face conveyor,the simultaneous top coal caving window numbers in the coal mining face were calculated and a top coal caving circulation method with three group windows caving in average was determined.A site measurement analysis was conducted on the top coal caving rate of the coal mining face.The results showed that a excellent production efficiency was obtained with the top coal caving circulation method,the mining rate of the coal mining face reached at 84.22% which was 7.22% higher than the single round sequence coal caving before the trial and the max month production of the coal mining face reached at 1.18 million t.
