Abstract
The early Tang poetry carried on the tradition of showy language and some weaknesses inherent in the poetry of the Southern Dynasty, and its content was mainly about the eulogy of achievements and entertainment. In the way of poetic expression, the court poets in the early Tang Dynasty developed and perfected its form by summing up and drawing on the former experience, which was of great significance for the maturity of the Tang poetry.
