Value of Multi-Slice Spiral CT in the Diagnosis of Liver Carcinoma with Hepatic Arteriovenous Fistula

Objective To evaluate the value of multi slice spiral CT in the diagnosis of liver carcinoma with hepatic arteriovenous fistula (AVF). Methods In a period of 1 year,405 patients with liver carcinoma were received multi slice spiral CT examination,among them 64 cases were also received interventional therapy.The CT and DSA images were analyzed and compared with each other retrospectively. Results Forty one cases of liver carcinoma with hepatic AVF were found.They could be divided into 36 cases of hepatic arterioportal fistula (HAPF)(87.8%),2 hepatic artery hepatic vein fistula (HAHVF)(4.9%)and 3 HAPF coexisting with HAHVF(7.3%).Thirteen cases of them were verified by DSA,specificity was 100%. Conclusion Multi slice spiral CT has obvious advantages on the diagnosis of liver carcinoma with hepatic AVF.
