Abstract

In this paper, the system identification technique is used in the dynamic performance research of a gear transmission system under practical working condition. By establishing the relationship between the spur gear transmission system's rotational vibration and noise, the differencial equation model is developed by system identification. This model can be used to describe the dynamic performance of a gear transmission system. A new modeling method in gear profile modification and dynamic optimal design, is presented.
