Abstract
Objective: To investigate the effect of Losartan Potassium on p- JAK2,p- STAT3 and VEGF of renal tissue in the diabetic nephropathy rats. Methods: 30 SD male rats were divided randomly into control group( group C),diabetic nephropathy group( group DN),Losartan Potassium group( group L). The rats were being intraperitoneal injected with STZ( 1%,45 mg /kg) to establish diabetic nephropathy rats models, test period 12 weeks. Blood glucose,Scr,BUN,24- hour urinary protein were measured at the 12 th. The renal pathological changes were detected by light microscope and electron microscopy. The expression of p- JAK2,p- STAT3 and VEGF were detected by immunohistochemistry staining sections. Results: After establishing mode for 12 weeks, compared with group C,group DN had significant elevated blood glucose,24- hour urinary protein,Scr,BUN( P 0. 05),and immunohistochemistry staining displayed that the expression of p- JAK2,p- STAT3,VEGF remarkably increased( P 0. 05). Compared with group DN,group L had significantly lower 24 urinary protein,Scr,BUN( P 0. 05),the expression of p- JAK2,p- STAT3,VEGF were lower than those in group DN( P 0. 05). Conclusion: Losartan Potassium may in part through regulating the expression of p- JAK2,p- STAT3 and VEGF play a protective role in the kidney of diabetic nephropathy rats.
