Abstract
Objective To investigate mycoplasma(MP)in children with recurrent respiratory tract infection (RRI). Methods Serum samples of 60 RRI patients and 50 control patients were collected and examined by ELLSA.Results Twenty-five cases were determined with MP-IgM positive in to RRI patients, with an infection rate of 41.67% (25/60),in contrast,5 patients (10%) were determined with MP-IgM positive in control group. There is significant difference between them(χ2 =13.97,P0.01).Conclusion The mycoplasma infection takes up a great proportion in RRI pediatric patients which provides a potential reference for therapy.
