On Individuality and Subjectivity in Guo Xiang's Philosophy

Although Guo Xiang does not put forward the concepts ofindividualityandsubjectivity,in his philosophy,there is also the conflict betweenindividualityandsubjectivity.This article attempts to reveal how Guo Xiang deals with the relation between the two,and then explores into its significance in the philosophy of Guo Xiang.On the one hand,Guo Xiang establishesindividualityand its value indomain of matter;on the other hand,he puts thesubjectivityas the inner basis to realizeindividuality.Therefore,carefree libertyis the process in which the subject re-establishes its own individual value.
