A Study on the Position of Tourism Industry in Shanghai's Modern Service Industry and Its Developmental Trends

A developed service industry is an important symbol of a modern key city.As a sunrise industry,tourism is an important component of the modern service industry.Therefore,how to promote its status and role in the national economy and to make it the pillar of the modern service industry is what we should take into consideration.Based on the analysis of the current status of Shanghai's tourism industry,this article demonstrates the conditions and the feasibility of developing Shanghai's tourism industry as the pillar of its modern service industry,and proposes that tourism industry clustering is the inevitable trend of Shanghai's tourism development.
