Abstract

The paper introduces the soil heavy metal pollution status in China, summarizes the types, typical cases and limitations of the phytoremediation of heavy metal-contaminated soil, gives a detailed description of the research progress of the hyperaccumulators which are the core of phytoremediation, and at last forecasts the development trend of phytoremediation.
