Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the effective of malaria control in Jingxi county of Sino-Vietnamese border in 1950- 2009. Methods: Collectted malaria prevention material throughout the rural hospitals from 1950 to 2009. Excel statistical software was used for statistical analysis. Results: The incidence of malaria were 96.94/10 000 in 50 years, and have Plasmodium falciparum, Plasmodium vivax, Plasmodium malariae epidemiced. Dropped to 11.06/10 000 in 70 years, and found no Plasmodium malariae after 1971. Decreased to 1.53/10 000 in 80 years, fell to 0.40/10 000 in the 90 years, but until the 90's in the local population were still found in patients with Plasmodium falciparum malaria. Fromed the 80's malaria patients based on floating population , Simultaneously infected with Plasmodium falciparum malaria. This century the local population were not found in endogenous malaria patients, the incidence of malaria controled in 0.06/10 000. Conclusion: The county effectively control malaria through the comprehensive and long-term control measures.
