Abstract

The whitespot syndrome virus(WSSV) is the major pathogen which causes the fulminant epidemic in farmed shrimp.So far,the research on WSSV has been focused on the analysis of the structural and functional gene and molecular mechanism of nosogenesis.In this paper recent research on the nosogenesis-related gene of WSSV was mainly presented,including the envelope protein gene,nucleocapsid protein gene,key enzyme gene of replication,putative cytokine receptor gene,latency-related gene and anti-apoptosis gene and so on,which aimed at providing a reference for more efficient method for the control of WSSV at molecular level.
