Abstract
Objective: Three ways of treatment for RSV included jet nebulized,ultrasonic nebulized ribavirin and intravenous inject ribavirin for 151 children who suffer from bronchiolitis due respiratory syncytial viral(RSV) infection.Method:151 children were separated into three groups: one group(51) treated with jet nebulizedribavirin,one group(48)treated with ultrasonic nebulized ribavirin and one group(50) treated with intravenous inject ribavirin.Result: The recovery rate(90.2%) of jet nebulized ribavirin group was higher than ultrasonic nebulized ribavirin(75.0%)(P0.01,) group which higher than intravenous inject ribavirin group(56.0%)(P0.01,).The statistics discrepancy of total effective rate in three groups are resemble with the recovery rate in three groups.Conclusion: These data demonstrate that ribavirin is effective drug currently available against acute RSV bronchiolitis.Jet nebulized ribavirin have the most significant therapeutic effect,ultrasonic nebulized ribavirin have the secondly therapeutic effect and intravenous inject ribavirin have the last therapeutic effect.
