Abstract
In order to further study the problem of design flood standard of dam flood protection and flood diversion structure,on the basis of the collection of the design flood standard of the large cascade hydropower stations in built and under construction and flood diversion structure,and their operation conditions,we analyzed the influential factors for design flood standard selection of dam flood protection and diversion structure,and then proposed the rational selection principle.According to the existed problems in the design code,the related problems were discussed and several suggestions on the revision of design code were presented as well.
