A research on the problems in urban land use and planning in China and the countermeasures

Many problems in urban land use, such as fast expansion, low efficiency, structure imbalance and so on, are outstanding in the process of Chinese urbanization, while the function of urban land use planning is still weak and the management is still feeble. To solve these problems, the urban land use planning should be made from the point of view of system, taking the urban development planning as the guidance, controlling all kinds of land use reasonably and improving the intensive land use and the collaborating the development of urban ecosystem. Finally, a series of suggestions to the planning making of urban land use are put forward.
