Clinical effect observation for diabetes patients with peripheral neuropathy treated by integrative Chinese and western medicine:30 cases analysis

Abstract
Objective To observe and assess the curative effect of integrative Chinese and western medicine for treating diabetes with peripheral neuropathy. Methods 60 patients were randomly divided into western medicine group and integrative Chinese and western medicine group. Patients in both groups received lowering blood glucose, trophic nerve, and improve microcirculation treatment, patients in integrative Chinese and western medicine group also received Chinese medicine oral and external fumigation treatment. Results The total effective rate in integrative Chinese and western medicine group is significently higher than in western medicine group(P0.05). Conclusion Integrative Chinese and western medicine has definite therapeutic effect for diabetes patients with peripheral neuropathy.
