Abstract

[Objective] The aim is to detect the heavy metals content in the soil of Dabizhuang and evaluate its pollution.[Method] The contents of Cd,Hg,As,Pb,Cr,Cu,Zn and Ni in factory pollution area, sewage water irrigation area and background area were investigated, whose relationship with the sample area was analyzed subsequently. At last, the metal pollution in Dabizhuang was evaluated comprehensively.[Result] The heavy metals in soil have accumulated to a certain extent exceeding the background values. The factory pollution area is most seriously polluted, with six kinds of heavy metals' contents over the national standard;the sewage water irrigation area is also heavily polluted with four kinds of heavy metals over the standard. The background areas have not been polluted.[Conclusion] This research shows that the factory dust and wastewater irrigation is the main sources of pollution, which has already caused serious farmland pollution. This study provides a feasible scientific basis for later land planning and land reclamation for Dabizhuang.
