Abstract

Professor Zhong Jinwen' idea of establishing China's folklore is a product of historical necessity on the basis of abundant theoretical , material and organizational preparation.The establishment of China's folklore is both the summary of his personal experience and mass practice since the May Fourth movement.His theory is profound and original. However ,a theoretical school should possess its unique research methodology.Therefore,it is necessary to sum up the characteristic research methodology of China's folklore.
