Abstract

In the article, effects of porosity and solid lubricants on material's tribological performance are studied on basis of analyzing anti -friction mechanism for P/M solid Self- lubricating material. It shows:friction coefficient and wear rate increase as porosity increases on condition that material's structure composition, original powder particle size composition distribution, solid lubricants'purity structure and so on are almost determined; increase of solid lubricants, to some extent, leads to improvement of anti- friction performance and reducing of friction coefficient wear rate, which indicates some tribological disciplinary behaviors of P/M solid self- lubricating material.
