Correlation between gestational diabetes,adiponectin,inflammatory factors and insulin resistance

Objective:To study the correlation between adiponectin(ADP),the levels of inflammatory factors and insulin resistance(IR)in gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM)patients.Methods:Totally 218cases of clinically diagnosed gestational diabetes mellitus as diabetes were enrolled as gestational diabetes group,127healthy pregnant women as normal pregnancy group,89cases of healthy non-pregnant women as control group.Adiponectin,inflammatory factor(C reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α)levels and insulin resistance(IR)were compared among the three groups.Results:CRP,IL-6,adiponectin TNF-alpha and insulin resistance index were significant different among the three groups(Pall0.05)showing significant difference.Adiponectin and inflammatory factors CRP,IL-6,TNF-αand insulin resistance index in pregnant women were negatively correlated.Conclusion:Adiponectin,inflammatory factors CRP,IL-6,TNF-αand insulin resistance were closely correlated.
