Historical Investigation on Wang Guo-Wei's Aesthetics In Transition

There are many researches on Wang Guo-wei's aesthetics ideology in aesthetics circle, while most researchers, who not pay close attention to Wang's historical background of aesthetics transition in modern times, only focus in the person of Wang Guo-wei and ignore some important aesthetes around Wang Guo-wei’s era. In my opinion, it is no doubt that, before or on the same era of Wang, Chang Zhou Ci Groups, Cheng Yan and Liang Qi-chao's theories will become important series of reference to clearly delineate Wang's aesthetic value during the period of Chinese traditional aesthetic transition in modern times. From this point of view, the thesis tries to conduct a brief historical investigation on Wang guo-wei's aesthetics in transition.
