Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the effectiveness of internal iliac artery chemoembolization (IIACE) for the hemorrhage of bladder carcinoma (BC).Methods:29 cases of hemorrhage of BC were treated by IIACE with anti tumor drugs. Results: In 28 of 29 cases the bleeding was reduced at the second day after IIACE,and stopped in 3~5 days after the procedure.Followup for 3~4 months showed there was no hemorrhage again. Conclusion:IIACE is a fast, safe and effective method to treat the hemorrhage of BC.
