On Han Nationality of the Western Region of China in the Period of Han Dynasty and Their Contribution to the Development of the Western Region

Abstract
Han nationality is one of the ancient nationalities of the western region in China. According to the clear record of our historical materials, in 200 B.C, Han nationality largely immigrated to the western region of China through marriage, farming, border guarding, emissary, trade and official talking etc. and changed the former distributed structure of the nationalities in the western region of China, made great contributions to the politic—economic progress of the western region in China, to the unity of the western region of China and its motherland.
