Abstract

Qiang nationality is an important ethnic minority in the northwest during the Western and Eastern Han dynasties. In order to consolidate border defense and strengthen the rule of the Han Dynasty,the government has formulated a series of national policy. In this paper,the similarities and differences of the national policy in the Western and Eastern Han dynasties are compared. Based on this comparison,the advantages and disadvantages of the national policy have been figured out.
