Effects of uterus contraction of the isolated mouse by the Motherwort and purslane compatibility

Objective: To observe the effects of Motherwort and purslane compatibility on contraction Property of uterine smooth muscle of Mouse in vitro.Methods: Three days before the experiment,0.2 mL estrodiol benzoatel were given to each feamale mice everyday via subcutaneous injection.The mice were killed through cervica1 dislocation when the beginningof the experiment,the uterus was taken out and placed in culture medium,then put into pressure transducer connected with Michael's bath,continued supplying oxygen,the nomna1 curve of the uterine contraction was recorded.Then the curve of the uterine contraction was recorded after the medicine or medicated serum were added.Results: Uterine smooth muscle tension was increased significantly compared with the control group after the medicine or medicated serum were added,indicated Shushen granules can increase uterine smooth muscle contractility and strengthen the uterine contraction.Conclusion: Motherwort and purslane compatibility facilitate hemostasis with increasing the uterine smooth muscle tension and enhancing uterine contraction.
