Abstract
The main bridge of Changshou Changjiang River Bridge on(Chongqing-Huaihua) Railway is designed as a continuous steel truss girder with span arrangement(144+2×192+144) m.In accordance with the advantages and disadvantages of several truss types,and in the light of the specific conditions at site of the Bridge,the different truss types that can be used for long span continuous steel truss girder structure are analyzed and calculated,the fabrication,erection and economy of the truss types are compared in a comprehensive way,and eventually the truss type suitable for the main bridge of the Bridge is obtained.
