Abstract
Aqueous extract of Euphorbia fischeriana was obtained by means of aqueous extraction,and the extract was extracted by various solvents in turn,such as ethyl ether and acetone,etc.The ethyl ether fraction was concentrated in vacuo to give a residue,which was subjected to silica gel column chromatography,eluted with petroleum ether,ethyl ether and their mixtures.Five compounds were isolated,identified and elucidated by MS,IR and NMR analysis.They were β-amyrin acetate,Jolkinolide A,3,3′-diacetyl-4,4′-dimethoxy-2,2′,6,6′-tetrahydroxydiphenylmethane,2,4-dihydroxy-6-methoxy-3-methylacetophenone and Jolkinolide B.
