Probing into the Aesthetic Education at College and Its Considerations

Abstract

In view of the negligence of aesthetic education at college,this paper reveals the origin of aesthetic concept in the West and China and its development in modern China as well.Meanwhile,it explains the importance and necessity which aesthetic education is of in college education from such aspects as college students' cultivation of rational thinking and creativity,formation of their sound personality,and good moral character,etc.Furthermore,it presents some suggestions and directions on the problems of aesthetic education existing in college education.
