Abstract

Porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2) is the smallest animal virus and the cause of postweaning multi-(systemic) wasting syndrome (PMWS) which has become an emerging and important disease in swine and has been causing a lot of economic losses of swine industry all over the world. In this article, the progress of diagnostic technigues of porcine circovirus type 2 was discribed, including the techniques of detecting antibody and antigen.
