On Promoting Students' Autonomous Learning in College English Teaching

Learners' autonomous learning serves both as the means and the end of college English teaching.Autonomous learning,as a new teaching concept,has been the mainstream of college English reform.So,it is very practical to improve students' integrated skills in English through promoting their autonomous learning ability consciously.In the article,the author analyzes the traditional teaching concept;investigates and analyzes the students' present autonomous learning in her college;the most important part in the article is to explore some methods to improve the students' autonomous learning ability in college English teaching.
