Selecting Suppliers Based on the Theory of Fuzzy Selection under the Background of VMI

Abstract

How to select good suppliers for a manufacture to collaborate with played a very important role in the course of implementing VMI.Firstly,the background,operation principle of VMI and the importance of selecting suppliers were introduced.And based on this,five principles on the evaluation of suppliers were proposed.Then,the theory of fuzzy selection was adopted to support how to evaluate suppliers.At last,the VMI warehouse of Hangzhou international port logistics CO.LTD.was taken as an example.
