Abstract
The spread of Christianity in modern history of Guizhou resulted in the direct encounter of Guizhou Miao people and the spread of western culture,whose influence even changed the cultural development track of the ancient ethnic group.In addition to the external impact of western forces,the combination with the decline of the decadent feudal dynasty in China,the extreme of Defence of Foreigners policy,and Miao people's rootless culture were the key reasons for Miao ethnic group's conversion and religion innovation;the impact of domestic and foreign factors and Miao people's inherent requirement to the development led to the tortuous development of Miao ethnic group in modern history.
