Efficacy of citalopram and perception treatment in cure of depression induced by Parkinsen's disease

Abstract
Objective:To study the efficacy of citalopram and perception treatment in the cure of depression induced by Parkinsen's disease.Methods:Sixty-eight patients with depression induced by PD were randomly assigned to the treatment groups for citalopram combined perception treatment or single citalopram treatment for 6 weeks.The efficacy was evaluated with Hamilton depression rating scale before and after treatment.Results: The scores of HAMD are significantly lower after treatment between two groups,the scores and the decrease rates of HAMD in citalopram combined perception treatment group are significant than the single citalopram group after 4 weeks treatments.Conclusions: Citalopram combined the perception treatment can increase curative effect and shorten the period of treatment.
