Abstract

A mathematical model was developed to describe the temperature variation of liquid steel in tundish during beginning of casting,casting,and changing ladle and finishing casting.Factors affecting the change of temperature in tundish were investigated,which provides a theoretical base of reducing the temperature drop and compensating the temperature loss.
