Abstract

YAG∶Ce~(3+) powders with different emission peak were prepared by high temperature solid method.Samples were checked by X-ray diffraction and F-4500 spectrophotometer. The results showed excitation spectra didn't change with Gd~(3+) concentration and emission peak shift to red wavelength with the concentration of Gd~(3+) ion increasing. Also, emission intensity increased with increasing Ce~(3+) concentration and the highest emission intensity was observed at 0.06 mol Ce~(3+) concentration.Emission spectra and excitation spectra didn't shift with Ce~(3+) concentration.
