Abstract

Objective To explore the change and clinical significance of serum calcium and iron in the children with febrile convulsion.Methods The levels of serum calcium and iron in 54 children with febrile convulsion(FC)and 20 controls were detected.Results The levels of serum calcium and iron in the FC groups were significantly lower than those in control group(P0.01),and the levels of serum calcium and iron in the CFC groups were significantly lower than those in SFC groups(P0.01 or P0.05).Conclusions The levels of serum calcium and iron are positively correlated with the febrile convulsion in the children with FC.
