Clinical Observation on Effect of Flamigel on Burn Wound Healing in 68 Cases

Objective:To investigate the healing effect of flamigel on the burn wound.Methods:A total of 68 patients suffering from burn were treated with flamigel or sulphadiazine Zn(SD-Zn),the time of wound healing was observed.Results: On light second degree burn wound,the average healing time was(10.5±1.1) days treated with flamigel,and(13.6±1.4) days treated with SD-Zn.In severe and light compond second degree burn wound,the average healing time(13.7±1.6) days in the flamigel group was shorter than that(17.5±1.1) days treated with SD-Zn In severesecond degree burn wound,the average healing time(14.5±3.5) days in the flamigel was shorter than that(20.3±1.3) days treated with SD-Zn.In the chronic gramulation burn wound,the average healing time was(21.1±2.5) days and(28.2±1.8) days in flamigel and SD-Zn respectively.There was significant difference between the two groups(P0.01).The total effective rate in flamigal group was 90.57 %.Conclusions: Fiamigel can promote the healing in burn wounds.
