Abstract
Objective:To investigate the association between interleukin-10(IL-10)gene polymorphism and acute myocardial infarction(AMI)in Chinese Han population of Changzhou region.Method:325 patients with AMI and 197 control subjects were recruited into the study.IL-10 polymorphism gene was determined by sequencing. Meanwhile clinical data about blood sugar and blood fat was collected.Result:There was no statistical difference of the frequencies of GG genotype and G allele between the AMI group and control group.Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed there was no significant correlation between IL-10gene 1082G/A polymorphism GG genotype with AMI after adjusting traditional AMI risk factors.Conclusion:IL-10 gene 1082G/A polymorphism was no associated with AMI in Chinese Han population of Changzhou region.
