Abstract
This paper shows that the flora of Bambusoideae including 258 species belonged to 25 Genera has been founded in Fujian province and the specie resource consisted of 129 species in 17 Genera naturally distributed has five characteristics, namely, richness in species, younger in flora, endemism in species or Genera, East Asia distribution type as dominant geographical consist, and importance to introduce and develop. Eight new geographical distributions in bamboo specie have been reported which are Phyllostachys glabrata ,P. Iridescens, P. heterocycla cv.Virdisulcata , P. incarnata, P. rubromarginata (Dehua county),Dendrocalamopsis vario striata(Putian county), Phyllostachys heterocycla cv.Tao Kiang(Shanghang county ), P. heterocycla (Taining county).
