Abstract
Objective: To investigate the expression and significance of cell apoptosis and Fas/Fas-L gene in the lung tissue of rats with pulmonary fibrosis. Methods: The pulmonary fibrosis model in rat was established by bleomycin.TUNEL、 RT-PCR and Western Blot were used to observe cell apoptosis and Fas/Fas-L gene expression. Results: The model was reproduced successfully.Compared with the control group, cell apoptosis and Fas/Fas-L gene expression were significantly up-regulated in the rat′s lung tissue in model group. Conclusion: The up regulation of expression of cell apoptosis and Fas/Fas-L gene may play an important role in the pathogenesis and development of pulmonary fibrosis.
