Impact on China's shipping industry of International Maritime Labor Convention 2006 and countermeasure

The adoption of International Maritime Labor Convention 2006 will make a tremendous impact on international shipping industry.The paper introduced the convention's major contents and characters,analyzed the impact of the convention on China's shipping industry with respect to the seafarer and shipping company.On this basis,it provided some recommendations for strengthening the study of the convention for good preparation of the adoption and implementation of the convention,as well as constituting documental systems.
