Chinese long traditional culture provides rich ideological resources for the formation and development of modern ecological aesthetics.Tao Yuanming,as a model of Chinese traditional intellectual with his ideal character,practicedpoetic settlement,and his human dignity and his poetr yobviously manifested a kind of harmonious and balanced relationship between man and nature,man and society and man and oneself.Therefore,rereading Tao Yuanming and his pastoral poems under the perspective of ecological aesthetics has profound theoretical and realistic significance.
