Abstract

There hasn't been a settled conclusion on the influences of metaphysics on Tao Yuanming's works.This paper argues that Tao Yuanming must have been influenced by metaphysical thoughts and that the influences should penetrate his poems.In his poems,Tao Yuanming represented his metaphysical thoughts by images,emotions and daily life experiences.
