Abstract

Objective To investigate the prophylactic effect of ondansetron on postoperative vomitting after laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Methods Two hudered patients were divided into 5groups randomly, respectively treated with saline 10ml(Ⅰgroup);ondansearon 4mg(Ⅱgroup);ondansetron 4mg+dexamethasone 10mg(Ⅲ group);ondansetron 8mg(Ⅳ group),ondansetron 4mg(befor anesthesia induction)+ondansetron 4mg(after LC)(V group).Make a different record about the degree of PONV on patients after operation 6、12、24h.Results The incidence of PONV on the other 4groups decresase obviously within 24hs,comparing with Ⅰ group, and the incidence of Ⅲ group is lower than Ⅱ,Ⅳand Ⅴ group(P0.05).In addition, there is no comparision and significant difference among Ⅱ group,Ⅳ group and Ⅴ group. Conclusion The prophylactic effect of ondansetron+dexamethasone on PONV is better for less advers reactions and expense.
