Reasons of Admiring of Xie'an by Tang Dynasty Scholars'

For his excellent competence in political affairs, Xie'an, the prime minister of the Dong Jin Dynasty (265-420), was a most popular personality among Chinese scholars. He was accepted for his seclusive tendency, was admired for his romantism, and was appreciated for his shifting from abandoning himself to hermit to government administration. Xie'an gained his reputation partly because of the Chinese tradition culture of hermit tendency, also because of the social life and Zeitgeist of the Tang Dynasty as well, which helps to realize the thoughts of the Tang scholars.
