Abstract
The main direction of study in genomics has been transferred from structural genomics to functional genomics. Content and methods of functional genomics are reviewed, including gene expression profile, genomic diversity, model organism, genomic comparation and evolution studied by microarray, serial analysis of gene expression, proteomics, bioinformatics , and so on.
