Abstract
To study relation between levels of transformation growth factor β1 (TGF - β1 ), tumor necrosis factor - α(TNF - α) in serum of patients with chronic hepatitis B and fibrosis degree analysis of liver tissue and to search for diagnostic index and mechanism of liver fibrosis from cytosine, Serum TGF - β1 was detected by enzyme - linked immunosorbent as- Say (ELISA) and serum TNF - α, HA, LN, PCⅢ were detected by radioimmunoassay (RIA) in 30 healthy persons served as normal control (NC) and 45 patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB) and 10 Patients with liver cirrhosis (LC). Serum TGF - β1, TNF -α, HA, LN, PCⅢ levels of CHB and LC were notable higher than in NC (P 0.01 P 0. 05), increased successively in mild, moderate and severe degrees of CHB and LC (P 0 .01 / P 0. 05) and were cor- related with degrees of liver damage positively (P 0. 01). Serum TGF-β1 was correlated with serum levels of HA, LN, PC Ⅲ positively (P 0.01 / P 0.05). Serum TGF-β1, TNF-α, HA, LN, PCⅢ levels were correlated with degrees of liver fibrosis positively (P 0. 01). TGF-β1, TNF-α levels in serum of patients with chronic hepatitis B were corre- lated closely with liver fibrosis. Serum TGF-β1, TNF-α, HA, LN, PCⅢ levels have affirmative value to help diagnose liver fibrosis. TGF-β1, HA, PCⅢ are better than TNF-α, LN.
