Investigation and analysis of the physician-patient communication of the medical students in a teaching hospital

The followed items were investigated:medical students’understanding of the effect and importance of physicianpatient communication, the teaching effect of physician-patient communication, students’self-evaluation of communication skill and students’suggestions to the teaching program of physician-patient communication. The results suggested that several aspects should be improved. For example, the importance of physician-patient communication should be emphasized, the teachers should help students finding problems and the teaching methods and courses should be reformed.
