Abstract
Objective: To analyze the factors for recurrence of right atrioventricular accessory pathway after radiofrequency catheter ablation(RFCA)in order to explore how to improve the right atrioventricular accessory pathway ablation success rate. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the clinic features of patients who were cured by RFCA with atrioventricular accessory pathway. Results: Through 3 to 24 months follow-up,the recurrence rate of right atrioventricular accessory pathway(10/68cases,14.71%) was significantly higher than that of the left(9/324cases,2.78%),P0.01.Conclusion: The high recurrence in the patients with right atrioventricular accessory pathway after RFCA is related to the anatomical position, difficult to get to the target sites, catheter stability and the blocking time of pathway.
