Abstract
A novel TiO2-graphene-modified glassy carbon electrode(TiO2-Gr/GCE) was fabricated. The electrochemical behaviors of catechol at the modified electrode were studied by cyclic voltammetry(CV) and differential pulse voltammetry(DPV).In pH 6.0 phosphate buffer solution(PBS),the composite film showed excellent electrocatalytic activity for the redox of catechol. The results of DPV indicated that the oxidation peak currents was linear with catechol concentrations in the range of 1.0 × 10-6 mol/L to 1.0 × 10-5 mol/L.The detection limit of catechol is 1.0 × 10-7 mol/L(S/N=3).This modified GCE showed good sensitivity and selectivity and reproducibility.
