Observations on the Clinical Curative Effect of Acupuncture on Chloasma

Abstract

Objective To investigate the curative effect of acupuncture on chloasma.Methods Eighty patients were randomly allocated to two groups.The treatment group of 42 cases was treated with acupuncture and the control group of 38 cases,with oral vitamin C and E.Results The total efficacy rate was 92.9% in the treatment group and 60.5% in the control group;there was a significant difference between the two groups(P0.01).Conclusion Acupuncture is better than oral vitamin C and E in treating chloasma.
